Surrounding developments recently completed, underway or due to commence shortly within the Stadium Village precinct include:

  • Quest Hotel
  • Bond University expansion
  • Sunkids Children’s Centre
  • Anytime Fitness gym
  • Arcadia College
  • Robina City Parklands

Quest Hotel Robina

Robina’s very first hotel is now under construction in Stadium Village. Quest Robina is set to be completed next year in 2020, catering mainly to business travellers. The 8 storey, $32 million mixed use development by Pellicano and Quest Apartment Hotels cements Robina’s place as a strong commercial centre for Gold Coast City. Quest’s General Manager, James Shield, identified Robina’s low office vacancy, strong sporting, retail and health sectors and iconic commercial towers as major attractions to Australasia’s largest and fastest-growing hotel operator’s first development in Gold Coast City.

Bond University Expansion

Bond University will further contribute to Robina’s ongoing momentum, with the private university purchasing a 9,524sqm development site on Promethean Way.  The site is adjacent to the existing Bond Institute of Health and Sport campus just 4 kms from the main Bond campus. The site enjoys a prime location at the doorstep of CBus Super Stadium. Although Bond University have not commented on their plans for the site, it’s expected the top university will strategically develop the site to expand their medical/sporting offering within Robina’s thriving learning and health hub.  Bond’s total Stadium Village landholding is now 16,610 square metres, directly opposite Vue Terrace Homes.

Sunkids Children’s Centre Stadium Village

A growing centre for education, Robina is now home to three Sunkids Childrens Centres. The early childhood education provider recently opened a third cutting edge child care centre in the prime location of Stadium Village, opposite Vue Terrace Homes. Sunkids’ investment in Robina, also includes the acquisition of a centre on Scottsdale Drive, together with the development of another centre on the same arterial road.  All centres are performing well with strong occupancy levels.  This reflects the high demand for child care and expansion and growth of the area. Sunkids operator, Kinder Educentres chief executive cited the proximity to Robina Train Station, Bond University Institute of Health and Sport, Robina Public and Private Hospitals and the Vue Terrace Home community as key drivers to the development of the latest centre.  Robina’s thriving business centre and future growth predictions, including a projection for the population to treble and workforce to double between now and 2050, further underpin the high demand for quality child care within Robina.

Anytime Fitness Stadium Village Gym

Vue Terrace Home purchaser Angus Terry is planning to move to the Gold Coast from Sydney to live at this exciting new Robina address.  He has purchased a site within the sought-after Stadium Village precinct to develop a brand new Anytime Fitness gym, directly across the road from Vue.  Mr Terry said Robina offers dual appeal to both live and work, being highly accessible to the rest of Gold Coast City and beyond.  Vue Terrace Homes ticked all the boxes for location, lifestyle and luxury aesthetics for Mr Terry and his family.  Robina’s growth and momentum as a CBD, together with close proximity to Robina Town Centre, CBus Super Stadium and transport were the key drivers in his decision to open the new gymnasium business here.

Arcadia College

Stadium Village is set to become home to a new private education facility for 300 students after receiving support from Council.  Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate said the Planning Committee endorsed plans for the new school, which will be operated by Arcadia College on a site close to Bond University’s Institute of Health & Sport and Robina’s Train Station & Transport Hub.  (Pictured: Image 4)

Robina City Parklands

Government investment into Robina continues, with City of Gold Coast due to break ground this year on their $15 million Robina City Parklands project. The lush green space is  located directly adjacent to Vue Terrace Homes.  Plans to transform the parklands into Gold Coast City’s own ‘Central Park’ are underway.  The 17 hectare green space will be home to two adventure playgrounds, a picnic lawn, a village green and performance stage and a $250,000 public art display. Gold Coast City residents will have free access to the parklands, extensive walking trails, viewing platforms, kayak launch spots and fishing nodes, as well as a multi-use community structure with cafe. Vue Terrace Home residents will enjoy exclusive direct access to the parklands from the gated community. See main image.
