Demand driven development in the heart of Robina

Buyers who missed out on the most popular perimeter Vue Terrace Homes, featuring park and water views, have another chance to secure one of the sought-after properties, with Robina Group fast-tracking release of new product to meet demand.

Robina’s master developer has just launched a stage three pre-release this week, comprising 44 two-level terrace homes and have already chalked up $9million in sales in the penultimate stage. The stage three pre-release includes a limited number of homes which have a seven metre frontage and a prime elevated position on the community’s border.

Robina Group also brought forward the last stage release to meet demand, with more than $90 million of homes already sold at Vue Terrace Homes, which is situated on East Lane in the heart of Robina.

Robina Group sales manager Azura Griffen said the residences in Stage Two had been snapped up quickly, prompting the launch of the new collection to satisfy a waiting-list of buyers.

“Vue Terrace Homes provides a unique opportunity to purchase an architecturally-designed and low maintenance urban property in the heart of Gold Coast City,” she said.

“All residences at Vue Terrace Homes are three bedrooms, plus a media room, across two levels and a choice of quality interior schemes and award winning floor plans to suit a range of buyers.

“Residents can enjoy access to exclusive leisure facilities including a pool, barbeque area and relaxation zones within the gated community which is surrounded by the 17 hectare Robina City Parklands, soon to be the subject of a $15million upgrade.”

The launch of the third stage of Vue Terrace Homes comes as building contractor, Hutchinson Builders, ramps up work on the community, with the first residents set to move in early next year.

The new release is anticipated to be well received by both local buyers and those from interstate, who are attracted to Gold Coast City due to its relative affordability and abundance of lifestyle opportunities.  Prices start from $599,000.

According to recent research from ABS and CoreLogic, more than 19,000 new residents moved to the Gold Coast from capital city markets – including Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne – in the 2016-17 year, triple the number recorded two years ago.

Ms Griffen said while the Gold Coast market continued to record strong growth, property in the city remained significantly more affordable than in the southern capitals.

She said the strong appetite for Robina property – and demand for terrace homes, in particular – was underpinning values, with recent figures from independent property analyst Urbis showing the median price of terrace homes in Robina had increased by 31 per cent over the past five years.

“Buyers are choosing Robina as an attractive, lifestyle-enhancing location, after being priced out of capital city markets, including Sydney and Melbourne,” she said.

“Robina offers geographic centrality and easy proximity to public transport, including Robina Train Station, top education facilities and some of the city’s best shopping and dining at Robina Town Centre.
