Completion of new homes sees first lucky residents moving in:  VIDEO BELOW

Construction of stages one and two of exclusive, gated Vue Terrace Homes has recently been completed, including resort-style pool and recreation deck, and brand new display homes.  Sam and Jess Burke were the first to receive keys to their brand new home.  They are not your ‘typical’ residents, with the pair living and working at the community as its resident managers.

The Burkes are part of experienced management rights operator TDK, who purchased the management rights to Vue Terrace Homes for $5 million last year – setting a new record for the central Gold Coast suburb.

Sam said he and his wife, Jess, recognised the potential to build and nurture a unique community in the early stages of Vue.

“What appealed to us about Vue Terrace Homes was the prospect of building a community from the very beginning; quite literally from the ground up, given we’ve moved in as it continues to come to life around us,” he said.

“Vue Terrace Homes is not just a place to live – it lends itself to a real sense of community.

“With the modern, architecturally-designed terrace style, we see it as more of an upscale neighborhood where people will wave to each other and come together in the common areas, like the expansive pool and recreation deck.

“Jess and I are both very approachable, friendly people – we want to build the kind of community we would like to live in, because we live here, too.”

Sam and Jess have just moved into their three-bedroom, two-bathroom terrace home, with an adjoining office to carry out the business of managing the community.

Prior to Vue, Sam managed a 308-apartment building in the inner-city Brisbane suburb of Bowen Hills for five years.

Jess, who decided to move from her job as Head of Retail Operations at a national coffee company, said the lifestyle decision to live and work at Vue Terrace Homes was an easy one to make.

“It was a short conversation with Sam – we asked each other, ‘Do we want to move to the Gold Coast to be closer to the beach, build a community to live in and work for ourselves?’,” she said.

“We both love the beach, so that made it easier to make the decision for a sea change.”

Sam added: “It’s not just about being 10 minutes away from the beach – Vue Terrace Homes is one of the most conveniently located communities on the Gold Coast, and this is a huge value-add for buyers and tenants.

“We are in such close proximity to so many great local schools and universities, the Robina hospital and health precinct, Robina Town Centre and Robina Stadium – and the local train station is literally across the road for an easy commute to Brisbane.

“Dining is a big one for us and there are lots of amazing cafes, restaurants and bars cropping up not only in Robina and Varsity Lakes, but in other areas of the Gold Coast like Nobbys Beach, Mermaid Beach, Palm Beach and Burleigh Heads.”

Robina Group sales manager Azura Griffen said the location and quality design of Vue Terrace Homes would see the remaining residences sell quickly.

She said there had also already been strong demand from the rental market.

“There has been a huge amount of interest at Vue, with more than $110 million in terrace homes across the project’s four stages already sold.  We now have just a few built homes available for sale settling this year and our off-the-plan stock, which is settling next year, is also moving fast,” she said.

“Robina is also highly-sought from a rental perspective, with vacancy rates being extremely low – in fact, we already had a waiting list of interested parties for Vue before the homes were even completed.

“The announcement of the upgrade of adjacent Robina City Parklands, which will include an event stage and village green, playgrounds, fishing platforms and more has certainly been driving interest in the project.

“Bond University has also announced it will be building a new facility across the road from Vue and, with plenty of ongoing investment and development in Robina, people buying now know they are getting in at the ground level of an evolving precinct.”
