Gold Coasters looking to ‘right-size’ their homes are increasingly opting to live alongside the city’s major urban parklands, according to a leading property veteran.
Long-time agent and Knight Frank Business Development Manager, Chris Litfin, has been selling properties on the Gold Coast for 30 years and is observing a lifestyle trend toward homes fronting inner city parklands – giving purchasers the best of both worlds.
He says that while living near the beach will always be appealing, the delivery of residential-focused developments near inner city parklands is providing a genuine alternative with a major lifestyle advantages for those moving from a large home to an apartment or terrace home on the Gold Coast

Robina’s founders and creators and developer of Vue Terrace Homes, Robina Group, announced this week that they have gifted over 5 hectares of additional land to Gold Coast City Council to increase the size and scope of the parklands.
Mr Litfin said sales at Vue had been surging on the back of the announcement of the parklands project in mid-2018 and the recent announcement of its expansion in size.
