$15million Robina City Parkland project will be the jewel in Gold Coast crown

Gold Coast City Council have announced they will break ground this year on the $15million ‘Central Park’ project, transforming Robina City Parklands adjacent to Vue Terrace Homes into a city park which will rival those in our capital cities.

The masterplan below has been unveiled today which shows extensive public parklands, a village green with a performance stage for live music and events, fishing platforms, adventure playgrounds, walking trails, sports fields and a cafe.

Robina City Parklands are already a charming public greenspace spanning a massive 17 hectares and this upgrade will transform the space into world-class parklands in an ideal location at the geographic heart of Gold Coast City.

The parklands will be a major drawcard for Robina and Gold Coast residents alike with Division 11 Councillor Hermann Vorster describing the parklands as the “crown jewels” of the central Gold Coast.

“This will mean that no matter where you live you will have access to great facilities where kids can play and you can enjoy the fresh air.”  Hermann said

News of the parkland project commencement is particularly welcome for the future residents of Vue Terrace Homes who will have direct access into the public greenspace.  The lifestyle benefits on offer at Vue Terrace Homes are already immense and the Robina City Parkland upgrade will take it to the next level.
