FIRST HOME BUYERS ADVANTAGE

Starting from the 1st of July 2016, Queensland will offer an increase of $5,000 for first home buyers for a total of $20,000 towards purchasing a newly constructed property under $750,000.

The increase is for one year only and is not eligible to replace contracts where there was a previous contract entered into before 1st July 2016. This means it’s not possible to rescind a contract and sign a new one on the same property to claim the increased grant.
